Sweden (.se): Swedish domain names are registered directly under .se, and are available to anyone on a first come first served basis. There are no restrictions on registering .se domain names, you do not need a presence in the country. Name servers used with the domain name need to be set up in advance, if the domain name servers do not respond to queries for the desired domain name, the Swedish registry will not attach the name servers to the domain name during registration. Although this can be remedied later on, it may take 1-2 working days before this is done. If this delay is unacceptable, set the name servers up in advance of the registration. .se names are registered for one year at a time.
Maximum length of a Swedish .se domain name is 63 characters.
