Italy (.it): Italian domain names are available directly under .it, and are only available to EU citizens and companies. There is a contract which needs to be signed for the registration, and .it domain names can only be registered on a yearly basis. For the registration, we need to know the following information:
The name servers used with an .it domain name need to be set up in advance.
Maximum length of an Italian domain name is 63 characters, and the minimum is 3 characters.
